How to export references from the EBSCO Discovery Service:

One of the easiest ways of importing references is using the ‘Direct Export’ method, which can be employed with a lot of online material, especially with online journal articles. Many databases and online applications have this direct export functionality.

To export from the EBSCO Discovery Service:

1. Click on the title of the article or e-book you wish to reference.

2. Click on ‘Export’ on the right-hand-side of the page.

3. Select ‘Direct Export to Refworks’.

6. Click on ‘Save’.

You will be asked whether you want to continue to export to RefWorks. Click on the blue bar to say "yes" and then assign the reference to a folder, (optional).
