Introduction to Panopto

The webinar while covering how to make and editing recordings with the LSBU’s lecture capture tool, it briefly covers the activation of recordings into a Moodle module (or ‘provisioning the course’, simply put linking it with Panopto) and the pedagogical uses a module can benefit from (first 9’ into the video) and the processes on how to embed the recordings into a Moodle module and how the student would view the recordings. How to add additional resources/activities, i.e. a quiz, to the embedded recordings is covered (from 27’32” onwards into the video):

Here the viewer needs to consider the Moodle interface being shown is from an earlier version and relates to the main Settings in the current Moodle interface - now shown on the top of module site as a cog wheel (by the ‘Turn Editing on’ button). Also, the module navigation template is slightly different in appearance but items more or less correspond to the current Moodle interface.

Also, at the end of the video the Moodle Help indicated now reads ‘Moodle Staff Help’ and can be found at bottom of the weekly units.
