Selections of hard copy books for ESOL courses are stocked in the library, so staff and learners can see if books are available on the shelves and then borrow them in person from the library.

  • Learners can borrow up to 6 books for 3 weeks.Library self service machine
  • Learners can use the self-service machine to borrow and return books.
  • Staff can borrow up to 8 books for 3 weeks.
  • Books are renewed automatically if they are not reserved by other students.

Graded reader books help learn through story and many come with CD’s to help you learn how words sound.

We have them colour coded for three levels , consult a member of staff to help you find the right level for your course.

  • YELLOW IS E1
  • GREEN IS E2
  • BLUE IS E3

We have books on Grammar, vocabulary and text books.  We will also be able to help you with exercise books your teachers recommend.

We also have films on DVD and you can borrow 2 for 1 week. Try watching with sub titles to help improve your reading at the same time.
