Introduction

PAL or Peer Assisted Learning is a programme designed to encourage students enrolled in the same course or program to support one another throughout the academic year.

You can help one another out and work together to learn under the direction of more senior peers.
As PAL Leaders, you were in the same situation as your PAL group this time last year, having just survived your first year of university.

Your first semester's PAL sessions are more frequent than your second semester's. You ought to be well-organized, polite, and well-planned! Keep in mind that your role as a PAL Leader is to stimulate discussion and share experiences rather than teach as a lecturer or solve other students' issues.

Support

When you apply, we don't expect you to be an expert! With the help of our PAL Leader training program, you will acquire the necessary skills to lead sessions effectively and develop leadership skills.

After this, we will continue to support you through 1-2-1 meetings upon request and regular group sessions that are open to all Leaders until the end of the year.
