Borrowing & Returning Books

Borrowing Books

Our collection of print books can be borrowed from the self-issue kiosk located next to the bookshelves in the Croydon Student Centre. All loanable books can initially be borrowed for two weeks, but will automatically renew on your record if no other student places a hold on them.

You can check which books are currently available to borrow, as well as search our significant collection of electronic books and journal articles, via the Library Catalogue button below:

Reference Only books, easily identified by the green sticker on their spine, can only be read inside the Croydon Student Centre and cannot be borrowed.

Returning Books

You can return borrowed items to the Book Returns Trolley located next to the self issue kiosk. Croydon Student Centre staff will then clear the book off your library record and re-shelve the item in the correct location.
