An online map and data delivery service providing maps and wide range of spatial data. Users can also use measurement and query tools to create their own maps. This resource is suited to students studying subjects in social sciences.
Boreholes Index: British Geological Survey
A database that contains over a million borehole records. The BGS Borehole record viewer also offers direct, online access to the National Geoscience Data Centre collection of onshore scanned boreholes, shafts and well records.

Doogal - Route Elevation
Allows users to calculate the route between two locations, then calculate the elevation and gradient of the route and display as a graph

Maps running, cycling and walking routes and calculates route distances and elevation profiles
