How to access Lambeth College Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is available at the college. eduroam will be the Wi-Fi network for students and staff using their own device(s).

Guests can also use the college "SBC Guest" Wi-Fi network, which requires registration.

To connect to the college Wi-Fi network, please use the following step-by-step instructions that apply to your device(s).

iPhones, iPads and laptops apple iphone, ipad and laptops

  1. Start the Settings app and tap Wi-Fi
  2. Wi-Fi Name: tap eduroam
  3. Username: type your college email i.e. ID-Number@student.lambeth.ac.uk
  4. Password: type your college password
  5. Finally, tap Connect

Android phones and Tablets  andriod phone and tablets

Option 1

  1. Start the Settings app and tap Wi-Fi
  2. Wi-Fi Name: tap eduroam
  3. EAP Method: select PEAP
  4. Phase 2 Authentication: select MSCHAPv2
  5. CA Certificate: Select Don't Validate
  6. Identity: type your college email i.e. ID-Number@student.lambeth.ac.uk
  7. Anonymous Identity: leave this empty
  8. Password: type your college password
  9. Finally, tap Connect

Option 2

If you are unsuccessful in connecting to the Wi-Fi using the above instructions, please use the following alternative instructions.

Note: Android Wi-Fi instructions may vary based on the phone manufacturer and version.

  1. Start the Settings app and tap Wi-Fi
  2. Wi-Fi Name: tap eduroam
  3. EAP Method: select PEAP
  4. Phase 2 Authentication: select MSCHAPV2
  5. CA Certificate: Select Use system certificate
  6. Online Certificate Status: select Don't Validate
  7. Domain: type lambeth.ac.uk
  8. Identity: type your college email i.e. ID-Number@student.lambeth.ac.uk
  9. Anonymous Identity: leave this empty
  10. Password: type your college password
  11. Finally, tap Connect

Guest access to the College Wi-Fi

1. To get free access to the College Wi-fi network:

  1. Start the Settings app and tap Wi-Fi
  2. Wi-Fi Name: tap SBC Guest
  3. Fill the Extreme Cloud IQ Secure Internet Portal Registration Form
  4. Finally, tap Submit
  5. You will be sent Access Key to your email address and follow the instructions below to connect to the college Wi-Fi network.

2. To get online:

  1. Start the Settings app and tap Wi-Fi
  2. Wi-Fi Name: tap SBC Connect
  3. Enter the Access Key was sent to your email address.
  4. Finally, tap Connect. You now have access to the college Wi-Fi network until the expiration date and time staetd on the email you have received.
