World Book Day: Thursday 3rd March 2022

World Book Day 2022

Celebrate with the London South Bank University Outreach and Library teams

Competition time!

LSBU's outreach team and the Library services team are holding a competition for you to be in with a chance of winning a voucher. It’s time to get creative and write your very own story with one catch – it can only be 6 words long!

There are no rules on topic, genre or content, so use your imagination to wow us with your words. Last year's winner was:

A boat. Mediterranean. Swallowed. Sea prevails.

The prizes for the poetry competition will be vouchers for £50 (1st place), £30 (2nd place) and £15 (3rd place).

Throughout the day, the the Outreach team will share their favourite books on Twitter.

This competition is open to those aged 18 and under. Submissions with offensive or discriminatory language will not be tolerated and your entry will be rejected.

Entries should be emailed to outreach@lsbu.ac.uk with the heading ‘World Book Day Competition’ and include your name and your school/ college.

The deadline for submission is 9pm on the 3rd March 2022. The winner will be decided by the LSBU outreach and library teams on the 10th March 2022.

We can’t wait to read what you come up with!

Happy World Book Day!
