Who we are and what we do

The Skills for Success team sits within Library, Skills and Customer Services. We are a multi-disciplinary support service dedicated to ensuring you have the tools you need to learn effectively and to demonstrate knowledge of your subject area.

Our support mechanisms include:

• Delivering specialist teaching within your lectures and seminars
• Hosting drop-ins and other dedicated events, such as Writing Cafes and Digital Skills Bootcamps
• Running workshops that help you refine your skills
• Giving advice on specific questions via email
• Creating detailed online guides and lessons that you can access anytime, anywhere
• 1-2-1 appointments for advanced searching needs and DDS students
