The maps display the different letters zones (A-Q) where you can find physical books and journals on different subjects. Below the map is a table of some of the key subject areas across Applies Science disciplines and their corresponding shelf location.
Simply match the shelf mark of the subject you want to find with the corresponding zone on the map and you will find relevant books in that location (e.g. For books on Animal physiology, located at shelf mark 591.1, I would need to go to Zone F which includes the shelves 362.109410 - 609).
