How much can you remember about the differences between Levels 5 and 6? Try the activity below to check your understanding.
For Level 6 writing, focus on a few key issues so you can go into more __1__ than at Level 5. Make sure you __2__ texts and put analysis into your writing. Try to find answers in the literature – e.g. __3__ definitions and interpretations of key concepts or issues. Put your __4__ interpretation on the literature. Your ideas and attitudes should always be __5__ using evidence from the literature. You should show that you are aware of the __6__ of things. For example, use cautious language if you don’t know something for certain (such as “It appears to be…” rather than “it is…”).
