Creating an IEEE Xplore account

You may wish to create an IEEE Xplore account. Doing so will allow you to save your search strategies and articles. 

Follow these steps to sign up for a free personal IEEE account.

  1. Click Create Account Button. IEEE Xplore displays the Account Registration form.
  2. Enter your first and last name.
  3. Specify a username (email address) and password. Passwords:
    • Must be case sensitive
    • Must contain between 8 to 20 characters
    • Must contain at least one digit or symbol
    • Cannot contain spaces
    • Cannot contain the word "password"
  4. Click Create Account Button. IEEE Xplore displays a confirmation box and signs you in to IEEE Xplore.
  5. Click Continue Button to re-enter IEEE Xplore.
