Utilize the library catalogue, various journal databases and specialist databases, depending on your topic. You will often need your LSBU username and password to access the full-text journal and specialist databases.
2. Apply all tools and search operators when you conduct your search, and ideally use the advamced search field.
3. Review search results and refine the strategy if necessary by adding or removing keywords/limits - like publication date, academic journal articles, peer-reviewed articles only, full-text, etc.
4. Make a note of keywords and filters. Some databases keep the search history like the EBSCO databases. You need to be logged in with your own login which you have create first.
