The Skills for Success maths and statistics team offers on campus and online support in mathematics and statistics for all levels of study, from foundation year to PhD.
 

Online Workshops

We run online workshops on a variety of maths topics during term time.

 

On-campus Drop-in Maths Sessions

These are held on the Southwark campus in the Learning Hub during term time. If you would like individual support over the summer please email us at maths@lsbu.ac.uk

 

Online Drop-ins for Drug Dosage Calculations

These are held twice a week during term time and once a week during the summer vacation.
 

One-to-ones

You can book a one-to-one meeting with one of our support staff through MyAccountThe meeting can be conducted online through Microsoft Teams or face-to-face on the Southwark Campus.

If a suitable time slot is not available, email us at maths@lsbu.ac.uk  and we will try to arrange a time that fits into your schedule..

Please note: there is a limited capacity to provide these sessions so we may have to prioritise whose requests we are able to meet.
 

Study Group meeting

Maybe you have set up an informal study group to work with other students. You can invite someone from the maths team to join you and offer support in any maths you may be studying. The meeting can be conducted online through Microsoft Teams or face-to-face on the Southwark Campus.
Email us at  maths@lsbu.ac.uk  or log an enquiry through MyAccount to request a meeting.

You can ask us a question on a maths or statistics topic by emailing us at maths@lsbu.ac.uk or logging an enquiry through MyAccount. We will send you a written reply helping you with your query.
