The 'Get Ahead' programme is designed to introduce you to the information and skills that you will need to succeed when you start your course at LSBU. We'll also be signposting the support, services and people that will be available to help you throughout your university journey. The comprehensive programme will feature sessions from LSBU's Academic Skills Tutors, Digital Skills Trainers, Information Skills Librarians and Mental Health & Wellbeing Advisors.
We will be running this event, online, for one week in September:
4th - 8th September 2023 (day and evening sessions)
Come to as many or as few sessions as you like (you can mix and match across the 3 cohorts as well) - all will be delivered live but remotely using Microsoft Teams (see far right of this page for more details)

Sessions will be available to book very soon. Make sure you book onto each session you would like to attend (you don't need an LSBU email address to do this).

Microsoft Teams is a video conferencing tool that allows people to meet online, wherever you are in the world. In the past year, we have used it to deliver a lot of teaching at LSBU!
