The Perry Library has moved from it's current site on Southwark Bridge Road to the new LSBU Hub between the London Road and Keyworth Street.This newly renovated space on London Road has been transformed into a state-of-the-art hub for collaborative learning and engagement for everyone in the LSBU community. Student Facilities in the HubYou spoke we listened We have seen all your feedback requesting a student kitchen and we hear you! In the Hub there will be two student kitchens with access to hot & cold water and microwaves available for your convenience. There will also be a dedicated student lounge so you can take a break from your studies when you need to. The Hub will also contain lockers, including charging lockers, to keep your personal belongings safe. |
What's New for...Support from Information Skills Librarians There will be 4 brand new classrooms for Information Skills training, with high quality equipment and new laptops for hands-on lessons. They will continue to run their lunchtime drop in sessions so you can get your quick questions answered. You will also still be able to book a one-to-one appointment with a librarian on MyAccount. |

What's New for...LSBU Archives Centre The Hub will be home to the new LSBU Archives Centre, including a new Reading Room for consulting the archives. The LSBU Archives Centre is responsible for the historic records of LSBU, including institutions such as Battersea College of Education, Brixton School of Building, City of Westminster College and more. The Archives Centre will also have the library Special Collections available for consultation. |
What's New for...Digital Skills Centre The Digital Skills Centre is currently based in the Business School. The Hub will be home to a new state-of-the-art Digital Skills Centre with specialist classrooms and high spec PCs, as well as a number of other training areas. The Digital Skills Centre provides support and training opportunities to students, staff and external visitors from the local community and further afield to enhance their digital skills. The Centre is also an authorised testing centre for Certiport offering access to Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) and Adobe Certified Professional certifications.
