New Student Induction Guide: Home

What is in this guide?

First of all welcome to LSBU! This induction guide is here to help you find your way around Library and Learning Resources.

LLR (as we like to call it) covers everything from Student IT Support, accessing books and resources, digital skills such as learning Microsoft Office to booking one to one appointments with a librarian.

In this guide you'll find a calendar of workshops and bitesize induction sessions, a checklist to help you get your IT account set up, links to our Libraries alongside other essential information to help steer you on your new journey at LSBU.

Learning how to use resources, research and access your accounts are essential skills that will optimise your ability to study and we are looking forward to helping you on your next steps.

Make sure you have ticked all the boxes!

Take a look at our new student induction checklist so that you don't miss out on what you need to do when you start in order to help you hit the ground running.
