Once you have completed your enrolment, you will be sent an email with your LSBU email address (for example s1234567@lsbu.ac.uk), username and a temporary password. You must change that password and set up your authentication before you can access your accounts.
If you have not yet received your email address and temporary password or it does not work, please get in touch with us via MyAccount or come to our help desk in the Library.
1. Please go to: office.com
3. Enter your temporary password. Click Sign In.
4. You will be prompted to change your password.
5. Enter your temporary password again.
6. Create a new password (see information below on password security) and then confirm and Sign In.
7. You will need to link the Microsoft Authenticator app to your LSBU IT Account. You can download the application on your mobile phone or tablet via Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
8. You will need to provide further information such as your mobile phone number and alternative email address, so you don’t lose access to your account. This is so if you forget your password in the future, you will be able to easily reset it.

Password Security
Please ensure that you access your email account regularly as this will help to ensure that passwords are updated when needed.
Passwords need to be complex, so follow all of the below principles.
Is this the password I use to login to LSBU systems?
Yes, it is the password used for all LSBU main services (Office 365, Email, MyAccount, MyLSBU, Microsoft Teams, printing services, campus Wi-Fi and the Moodle VLE).
Once you have reset your password you will be able to access all your LSBU accounts in the usual way, using the new password.
