Balance is when you include different points of view that do not agree with your position.

This displays your critical thinking because:
- It shows that you are not biased, and that you are fair and balanced
- It shows that your position is strong enough to overcome counter-arguments.
- It allows you to make your argument clear against specific points from the other side
- It shows that you are aware of complexity - very important as not many issues are completely black or white.
