Staff guide to Reading Lists Online |
---|
Key steps to prepare your 2025/26 Semester 1 reading list:
We have rolled over your 2024/25 reading lists to the 2025/26 academic year. All changes made on your 2024/25 lists have been carried forward to the 2025/26 academic year. If you are leading a new module, you may need to create a new list.
Checklist for updating your list:
1. Remember to set the importance for each book item using the "Tag" option. The Library will purchase books tagged as "Essential" and "Recommended". If no importance is selected, the library will treat it as a Background reading.
2. Include the latest edition of the books, and check that there are no broken links to external sites.
3. Check if the list is associated with the correct module code.
4. Be prepared to use an alternative title if the Core reading isn't available as an e-book.
Can I make changes throughout the term?
Yes. You can still make changes to your lists after the deadline and throughout the term. Any subsequent changes made to the list are saved and published automatically.
