SCONUL Access is a reciprocal scheme which enables students and staff at participating institutions to access a network of higher education libraries across the UK.

Step one - Join SCONUL Access

Register online for the scheme on the SCONUL Access website.

Register with SCONUL

Once your application is approved by your home university, you will receive an email confirmation containing your registration details and your membership expiry date.

Step two - Fill out our online registration form

To register at our Southwark, Havering or Croydon Campus libraries, please complete our online registration form.

Register with LSBU

You will need to upload a digital passport sized photograph, a screenshot of your SCONUL Access membership confirmation email and a photo of your home university ID card.

You will be notified by email when your London South Bank University ID card is ready for you to collect. Please allow up to 5 working days.

You can still access our libraries in the meantime with your SCONUL Access email and student ID card.

SCONUL Vacation Access Scheme

During the Summer vacation you can access LSBU libraries, for reference only, using your own student ID under the summer vacation access scheme.
