The title of the map can be a building, a street, an area, a town etc.

To get a short URL, click on the share option in the side bar

To reference a map from Digimap use the Digimap guidelines.

You will need:

• Name of the publisher (always Google Maps)
• Year of publication
• Title of the map and scale
• Full web address
• Accessed date

Format:

Google Maps (Year) Title of map, scale. Available from: www.webaddress.com [Accessed day month year].

Example:

Google Maps (2021) Lord's Cricket Ground, 1:100. Available from: https://goo.gl/maps/uUKwea5igLowMRVU6 [Accessed 8 June 2021].
