LSBU Harvard Referencing: Conference proceedings (print)

Conference proceedings in the LSBU databases can be referenced as print papers.  

Use the guidance on Conference proceedings (online) to reference articles found outside of LSBU, eg. on Google Scholar or Researchgate.

Format of the reference

You will need:

  • Name of the author(s)
  • Year of publication
  • Title of the conference paper
  • Title of the conference
  • Location of the conference
  • Day(s) and month of the conference
  • Place of publication
  • Publisher
  • Page range

 

Format:

Author’s surname, Initials. (Year of publication) Title of conference paper, in: Title of conference, Location, date of conference. Place of publication: Publisher, page range of paper.

Example:

Foysal, M.F., Islam, M.S., Karim, A. and Neehal, N. (2018) Shot-Net: A convolutional neural network for classifying different cricket shots, in: International Conference on Recent Trends in Image Processing and Pattern Recognition, Singapore, 21 December. London: Springer, pp. 111-120.
