You will need:

  • Name of the author(s)
  • Year submitted
  • Title of the disseration or thesis
  • Level of award
  • Location of awarding institution if not clear from name
  • Name of awarding institution

 

Format:

Author’s surname, Initials. (Year submitted) Title of dissertation/thesis. Level of award, Location of awarding institution if not clear from name: Name of awarding institution.

Example:

Levene, D. (2019) A port for thieves - the historical fiction of golden age piracy. Masters Thesis, London South Bank University.

In-text citation: (Levene, 2019)
