If referencing government publications from multiple countries, include the country in brackets after the department’s name.

Format of the reference

You will need:

  • Name of the government department (country)
  • Year of publication
  • Title of the report
  • Web address
  • Date accessed

 

Format:

Name of government department (Country) (Year of publication) Title of the report. Available from: www.webaddress.com [Accessed day month year].

Example:

Department Health (Australia) (2021) Head to health: Covid-19 support. Available from: https://headtohealth.gov.au/covid-19-support/covid-19-support [Accessed 3 February 2021].

In-text citation: (Department of Health (Australia), 2021)
